Santa is known to make an appearance, along with CHML radio personalities, the Mayor, and other local dignitaries.

A Green Approach
Here at Christmas Décor, we’re always talking about the importance of energy conservation and efficient lighting technology. Turns out that The Lakeside Festival of Lights is also a firm believer in more efficient lighting approaches! This year, The Lakeside Festival of Lights is committed to replacing traditional lighting strands on its holiday displays with highly efficient LED light strands. So far, seven of the more intricate displays have been retrofitted with this energy-saving technology, including the 7-piece carousel, Santa and his sleigh, and the 15 toy soldiers that stand guard at the parks entrance. If you’re interested in improving the efficiency of your Oakville holiday lighting display, don’t hesitate to contact the experts at Christmas Décor to learn more.
The Lakeside Festival of Lights relies on the generous sponsorship support of a number of different organizations, community businesses, and the City of Burlington. A dedicated group of volunteers help ensure that all of the displays are safely installed and maintained throughout the festival.
